Charnock College of Nursing, Kolkata, was established in the year 2014, being one of the most prominent institutions in West Bengal for nursing education. Located at New Town, opposite Eco Park, this affiliated college has quickly risen through the ranks to become an upper middle-level institution in healthcare education.

In GNM, admission is based on a merit list based on marks obtained in the Higher Secondary examination followed by counselling.
