Chauson College of Education, Chikodi, was discovered in 1985, and it remains one of the best collages up to date with the goal of developing the education system. A co-educational college, established at Belgaum, Karnataka, is an affiliated college which is recognised from NCTE. Located on a vast piece of land of 15 acres the college provides a conducive environment for anyone who wishes to become a teacher. Currently, Chauson College has 152 students and thirteen faculties, which allow guaranteeing sufficient attention and quality of education.

A set of superb campuses with state-of-art facilities that help to deliver an effective and meaningful experience is offered by the college. At the center of such comforts are a modern library that could access a large number of knowledge-boosting journals, publications, and electronic databases. The reading room is designed to allow 200 students at a go to read or engage in research in a comfortable environment. It will also be a plus for any sporting personality since the college offers and affords a lot of attention to affiliation to physical and health education with different sporting amenities within the compound. It also values technology development, providing superior IT facilities to update students with various modern technology in learning. Chauson College of Education offers two full-time courses: They include a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Masters in Education (M.Ed) programme.  To meet this need, the M.Ed programme for the Psychology of Education and the Secondary option is available for 50 students. 

Admission in Chauson College of Education is based on merit after the transgender person has completed their marks in qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests. The college follows the admission policies framed by the state government, U.T. Administration, and the related University.
