The College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Junagadh, is one of the well-known educational institutions in the city, established in the year 2000. The affiliated college spread over 1 acre and has a student enrolment of 756 and 20 devoted faculty members. CCSIT has 12 courses through six different degree programs: computer application, information technology, microbiology, chemistry, and biotechnology.

CCSIT has provided various facilities to the students for their better learning experience. The college has well-equipped computer labs with advanced technology systems in the area of computers and networking infrastructure. Free internet access is provided to students for acquiring knowledge on current topics. A well-stocked library with books, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, and project reports supports the academic pursuit. Separate hostels for boys and girls provide a comfortable living environment to the students coming from other towns. Apart from this, CCSIT has departmental laboratories, a canteen, sports facilities, and a health center with first-aid facilities. 

There are a total of 12 courses, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, at CCSIT. The courses include full-time degree courses and diploma courses. The undergraduate programmes comprise BCA and B.Sc. in Information Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry and Mathematics. The postgraduate courses include M.Sc. in Information Technology and Computer Applications, Microbiology and Chemistry. The available diploma courses include the DMLT, PGDCA and PG Diploma in Computer Hardware and Networking. 

The CCSIT admission process is mostly merit-based, and most programs assure direct admissions. Academic performance in the qualifying examinations forms the basis through which the institute selects the candidate.
