College of Dairy Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram was established in 2015 as a constituent college to promote dairy science course in Kerala. Situated in the lively locale of Thiruvananthapuram; this institution runs under the bar granted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college focused on dairy science and technology, so the course content best suits the college and the increasing need in dairy sector. Thus the college has 11 committed member of faculty to support the students and the curriculum that we offer is a blend of theoretical as well as practical knowledge.

The Current students at the College Dubai of Dairy Science and Technology avail the following facilities to complement their learning. The college is well facilitated with a state of the art library where the students can gather information of various application in dairy science. Sophisticated laboratory facilities are available to give opportunities in field practice where the students can use the knowledge of theory practically. The institution also has its hostel to accommodate the students, and the male and female students are separated to enhance comfort for those who choose to live in the hostels. Furthermore, the college knows about the necessity of a balanced student life therefore it provides sports facilities to promote fitness and friendly competitions among the students.

The College of Dairy Science and Technology currently offers one specialised course: B.Tech in Dairy Science and Technology. This is a four years full time course, the goal of which is to produce effective professionals in the sphere of dairy science and production. The course has an approved capacity of 60 students, the college strives to ensure the right ration between the students and instructors. This request focusing helps the institution to channel all it is capable of in delivering quality education within its area of specialty.

The B.Tech programme at the College of Dairy Science and Technology has put in place admission process which is merit based and structured. The prospective students are admitted through the Government of Kerala Common Engineering Entrance Examination called KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination). This helps the college to admit students with a sound background in science and mathematics since these-two areas of specialty are central to the dairy science discipline. The observance of the entrance examination meeting state level is clear evidence and clear message to the college concerning its willingness to uphold high academic standards and enroll the best students from the state of Kerala.
