DAV College, Jalandhar, which was set up in 1918, is one of the leading co-educational institutions in Punjab, India. This affiliated college which is recognized by the NAAC has 88 acres of area. DAV College is one of the oldest Institute of Higher learning with its origin dating back over a century. Within the institution, there are 33 courses in 15 degree programmes for a total enrolment of 4,637 students; the institution is staffed by a faculty of 199 members.
One of the things that the college is most proud of is its infrastructure since most of them have been specially put to complement the learning process. Students have a unique opportunity to use laboratories, a rich library that contains more than two lakh text and reference books, and the ‘E-resources lab’ equipped with modern technologies for electronic learning. For those who need to be accommodated, the college offers separate hostels for boys and girls enabling outstation students to live comfortably in the college’s hostel facility.
Currently, DAV College in Jalandhar can provide its students with numerous choices of degrees as it teaches 15 undergraduate and 18 postgraduate programmes. The institution offers full-time courses in different streams like Arts, Commerce, Science and Computer applications etc. They include B.Com (Hons), B.Sc in Biotechnology, Computer Science, and Economics and professional courses BBA and BCA. In the postgraduate level, the college provides M.Sc courses in Chemistry, Computer Science Mathematics and others. The variety of courses that are offered to students can satisfy any academic major and career choice needs, so the specialization options are numerous.

It’s just ok there is no enjoyment or comfortable benches and there is no fun and in summers there are no Air conditioners and there is no seats in canteen and there is no enough space as needed…………..

DAV college Jalandhar have well developed infrastructure and provides all the facilities and latest equipments like wifi equipped libraries, Playground, Auditorium, and hostels for both boys and girls. Yes our college provides us stress free environment.

I would recommend you the CT group of institutions, because this college has best placements. And many reputed companies are there for the recruitment and the good infrastructure with all facilities and well maintained. And surrounded by all economic facilities. And well trained staff is available and supportive
