DEC which was started in 2009, is a reputed Engineering College located at Faridabad, Haryana. Currently its located on 10-acre and has offered number of engineering programs. The college is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has good standards of education. The institute is coeducational, meaning both male and female students interested in engineering courses can join.

DEC has very good facilities for students. The library has more than 6,000 books which are on various topics of engineering along with several national and international journals, magazines and newspapers. The students also has access to a reading section as well as a reference section with motivation and fiction books, therefore enhancing their learning process. The computer centre is very hi-tech with high definition computers, LCD monitors and all forms of multimedia equipments. The campus has LAN connection and Broadband Internet connection so we have Internet access and we get licensed software so we are updated with the latest in technology.   

DEC offered full-time B.Tech degrees, the college also offers technical diploma programs. Diploma courses take three years while B.Tech take four years. Electrical and Electronics engineering, Mechanical engineering, Computer Science and engineering, Electronics and communication engineering are popular B.Tech disciplines. Graduation subject can be Mechanical Engineering or Electronics and Communication, according to the students’ choice.

For B.Tech programs, the college accepts scores of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, a national level engineering examination.
