Deogiri Institute of Technology and Management Studies Aurangabad was established in the year 2006 is one of the pioneer institute of Maharashtra India. This co educational institute is an affiliated college and the college is a member of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Located in Aurangabad, this institute provides various streams of undergraduate course in technology and management streams. The total number of students enrolled to this institute is 443 and faculty strength is 15 faculty members, which makes provision to students’ focused learning. The institute currently has three programmes, these being computer science, business administration and Computer Application. 

Deogiri Institute of Technology and Management Studies has various facilities that caters the need of their students and also effectively aids in the learning process of students. Library plays an important role of providing Computer Applications with a source of information through alternative sources. Tulane college is resourceful in terms of information technology giving a student group constant access to the current technologies available. For the physically challenged, separately designated hostel for boys and girls is provided for anyone who needs it. There are many opportunities for people who are actively involved in sports as the college will provide sport related amenities. A cafeteria within the institution meets the food requirements of learners as well as other members of staff. The institute also has well-equipped laboratories for practical needs for the practical purpose of the students. Safety comes first with a medical facility which incorporates first aid. 

For now, the Deogiri Institute of Technology and Management Studies has a total of three programmes on offer. Such programmes focus on different fields of study, and therefore give students a variety of career choices. For this reason, the institute has a total approved students’ capacity of Two hundred and fifty (250) for all the courses offered with the belief in offering quality student/faculty ratio. 

However, the admission process for each course in Deogiri Institute of Technology and Management Studies is unique. The on situation for the B.Sc Computer Science programme, the admissions are done meritoriously. The selection process to the BCA and BBA programmes is somewhat more rigorous than that to the B.Com and BAF programmes. As part of admission process, candidates have to sit for a Common Entrance Test (CET), then a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI). All the candidates are given aptitude tests and the placements are offered in the ratio of merit.
