DES's College of Engineering and Technology  was established in 2009 on a 10-acre campus. This affiliated college offers various engineering programmes. DES's College of Engineering and Technology is awarded 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council for quality in education. With an enrollment of 205 students and a faculty strength of 38, the college provides an ideal learning environment to new engineers. The institution offers four full-time BE programmes in the various disciplines of engineering.

The infrastructure at DES's College of Engineering and Technology is excellent, helping to make the learning process of its students more fulfilling. It is a treasure house of knowledge with more than 11,842 books pertaining to 2,673 titles. Also, the college library subscribes to 37 national journals and 14 newspapers. It also has a digital library and SLIM 21 software that aids students in accessing numerous information easily. For sports-minded students, this college has superb facilities on a 3-acre playground with outdoor games like cricket, volleyball, and kabaddi, and a 400 square meter area for the indoor ones like badminton and table tennis. In addition, this institution is also seriously concerned about the health and wellness activities of its students and thus provides a health center with first-aid facilities and a well-equipped gym.

The college imparts four BE courses, and all these courses run for four years. These four courses are: BE in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,  Electrical Engineering, and Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering. Courses are offered in full-time mode to provide sufficient training in the related fields.

Admission to the courses offered by DESCOET is governed through a policy that allows an intake of meritorious students into these different disciplines. The college admits students through the scores obtained in two major entrance examinations: the JEE Main and the MHT CET. The examinations—these are gateways to secure admissions in the college for aspiring engineers.
