DM WIMS Nursing College, the affiliated self-financing college, was started in the year 2014 situated in Meppadi, Wayanad, Kerala. The degree offered here has been approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and is located on a 4-acre campus which allows for a programme-specific education in nursing. Currently the college is serving 238 students accommodated within the teaching staff of 22 faculty; thus, it is seen that the college offers a better student-faculty ratio. At present DM WIMS Nursing College only has a single course offering, B.Sc Nursing, with an approved student enrolment of 75 per year, insisting on the quality of education offered in nursing.

The college is equipped with a number of facilities that are adopted to fit the technological requirements of the learning process for its students. The extensive library resources encompass the recent books, journals and online tutorial aids such as main textbooks, journals and tutorial resources. For practical training there are available nursing practice labs and simulators through which students can practice the performance of multiple tasks in the nursing industry with the help of modern technology. They assist in the achievement of instructional objectives in the sense that the students are given a chance to gain access to a computer, and they are availed of extra practice materials. The school has beautiful classrooms with roof-mounted LCD projectors in each class to enhance the teaching and learning process.

DM WIMS Nursing College provides a full-time B.Sc Nursing programme of study that takes four years to complete. It has become possible for this college to achieve high quality of education and, at the same time, ensure that students are given adequate individual attention as they progress through their college education.

DM WIMS Nursing College follows a traditional process of admission where it admits students on a merit basis. Candidates who apply for admission have to present their academic performance in the qualifying examinations that are undertaken.
