Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Medical Science unit was established in the year 2013, located at Jagada, Sundargarh, Odisha and comes under a separate university itself. This institute is only for female and is committed to medical and nursing courses, which are recognised by INC: Indian Nursing Council. Set on a mere plot area of 4,800sq ft, the institute sanctions three full time courses under two degree programme. This institute has 80 enrolment with students and a 9 strong faculty which ensures that the class is small and compact.

Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Medical Science has some of the following facilities which help accommodate the activities of the students and enhance their academic lives.
