Dr. KV Subba Reddy Institute of Pharmacy, Lakshmipuram, Kurnool, was started in 2007. The DRKVSRIP offers all types of programmes in Pharmaceutical education. It runs 5 full-time courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma levels with a total approved intake of 220 seats. The undergraduate B. Pharma course has 100 seats, while at this level, the Pharm.D course admits 30 students. At the level of postgraduate study, it offers two M. Pharma programmes: Pharmaceutical Analysis and Pharmaceutics, admitting 15 students to each programme. The institute also offers a D. Pharma course with 60 seats. All these courses provide choices to the students for pursuing their goals and expectations in the pharmaceutical profession.
