Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College and Hospital, Kolkata, was established in the year 1952 with a view of imparting quality dental education in the heart of Kolkata, West Bengal. This is an affiliated college and is approved by the Dental Council of India. Seven decades and more, this college has met the needs of dental education. The college, which spans an area of 2 acres, offers scores of dental programs to 590 students enrolled in it. Having 70 members on the faculty makes the student-teacher ratio convenient, thereby providing both personal attention and quality education.
