Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil College of Engineering (DVVPCOE) was established in the year 1983 at Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. The affiliated college is spread over a campus of 25 acres and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. This diversity is reflected through the plenitude of engineering programs offered under its roof, which comprises 12 courses in 3 degree levels. DVVPCOE offers an entire range of engineering programs—undergraduate and postgraduate. It offers 10 Bachelor of Engineering and 2 Master of Engineering full-time courses. The sanctioned intake for the above courses is 1,450 students. Some of the popular BE courses are VLSI Design and Technology, Computer Science and Design, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, having an intake of 60 students each. At the postgraduate level, the college offers ME in Structural Engineering and Design Engineering.

The admission process at DVVPCOE is majorly performance-based. Admission into undergraduate courses is through JEE Main and MHT CET, while graduate aptitude test in engineering is a consideration in the admission for postgraduate courses.
