The DSR College of Education, Aurangabad, was established in 2003. This leading college imparts future education through its verge. Situated at Wanjarwadi, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India, this affiliated college operates under the aegis of the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE. DSR College of Education is spread over 1 acre and conducts two specialisations in education at the degree level, with a total enrolment of 205 students. With 17 dedicated faculty, the student-faculty ratio is well balanced, and hence, due care is taken for the overall development of each student willing to become a teacher. 

The institute would provide a congenial learning atmosphere for its students. It can be, to begin with, a not-so-minor one: the library qualifications to be a storehouse of knowledge for the students and faculty. Departmental laboratories are also present on campus to ensure that experiences of learning are instructionally provided with practical hands-on knowledge, significant in the teacher training process. DSR College of Education provides two full-time courses: one is the Bachelor of Education programme, and the other is the Master of Education programme. This is a two-year course, and the total number of students that are admitted in a session is 100 for the B.Ed course; it is designed to provide the required pedagogical skills and knowledge to an aspiring teacher. The programme of M.Ed. runs for a two-year duration with an intake of 50 students specialising in advanced educational theories and research methods. 

The process of getting admission to DSR College of Education for either of the degrees of B.Ed. and M.Ed. takes place through the State Common Entrance Test. CET is conducted, usually in May-June, every year and is coordinated by the State Common Entrance Test Cell.
