It was in the year 2002 that DY Patil College of Nursing, Kolhapur, was established with the objective of serving as a reputed constituent institution for nursing education. Apart from this undergraduate course, the college offers Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic M.Sc Nursing with specialisations in Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Mental Health Nursing. A postgraduate programme is being conducted with an intake capacity of 5 seats each, providing focused training with specialisations.
