Gates Institute of Technology Gooty is an educational institution that was established in 2001. The institution which started with an intake of 150 students has gradually grown to its current intake of 930 students. Gates Institute of Technology is recognised by the University Grants Commission and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. GIT Gooty is also NAAC accredited with A grade.
GIT Gooty offers various courses in different fields at three levels of programmes: Diploma, UG and PG. The courses at Gates Institute of Technology include B.Tech in six specialisations at the UG level and MCA and MBA at the PG level. In the Diploma level, there are 3 specialisations available, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication and Computer Engineering. Candidates who wish to apply for any course must fulfil the eligibility criteria and appear for the relevant entrance examination, such as AP POLYCET for Diploma admission, AP EAPCET for B.Tech admission, and AP ICET for MCA and MBA admissions.

College Infrastructure
Our college has all the facilities, including labs with WiFi, clean classrooms, and experienced lecturers. The hostel provides quality food and Wi-Fi, and there's a water facility. The lab systems are always up to date. Our college were recently granted autonomous status.

College Infrastructure
Hostel is accomplished with a good environment. Room is provided for 4 to 5 persons, it is spacious with a shelf of 3 rows to keep our things and a single cot to sleep in. Around 24 hours current and water is provided and free Wi-Fi is provided. The food is good compared to other colleges the taste is really better if compared. Hostel is located inside the campus for boys and for girls in Gooty with same facilities and powerful security.

College Infrastructure
Classrooms are spacious and well-maintained, equipped with projectors, whiteboards, air-conditioning, etc. Labs are available with the necessary equipment. Some labs need upgraded equipment, better maintenance, and more availability. Wi-Fi is available across campus. Library is well-stocked with books, journals, research papers, and e-resources.
