The Azad College of Education, Pusad Maharashtra, was established in 1990 and located at Dhanrajbaug, Pusad district, Yavatmal. The institute is focused on providing quality teacher education. Nagar, Washim Road, Near Rest House, Pusad, This college is also co-educational affiliated college. At this college, it is proud to receive accreditation from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for quality education. Situated on 0.72 acres of land, the college provides two educational programmes for students of up to 100 in total. The institute has a man power of five faculty members who are only involved in teaching and training the students who aims to be teachers.

Holders of both programmes complete their studies in two years, receiving a strong basis for a future profession of educators.  These courses will help to provide skilled and knowledgeable teachers to go out and make good impacts in the field of education.

Ghulam Nabi Azad College of Education strictly follows a merit-based system while giving admission to the students. Admission criteria of both B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. programmes are calculated by marks of the qualifying test as well as the entrance test. The college also follows any other method of selection as may be provided under the relevant acts as enacted by the state government, UT Administration, and the affiliated university.
