Giridih College was set up in 1955 and is one of the recognised institution situated in Giridih, Jharkhand. This constituent co- educational college is located in a large campus of 30 acres promoting the environment of learning. Total student strength of the college is 6,341 and the faculty members are 13 and thus offers wide and comprehensive courses. It has the reputation of being an educational college as it was accredited with NAAC together with other institutions of higher learning. It also receives accreditation from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) in all its teacher education courses.
