This goalpara college was established way back in 1955 as one of the most famous colleges. It has grown with time to be one among the top institutes of Assam, imparting affiliated undergraduate courses to thousands of students. The main administrative building and the annex, along with 35.28 acres of land laid down beautifully, with a total enrolment of approximately 1,990, consisting of roughly a 49% balance for males and 51% for females. Quality education through 22 courses in 6 degree programmes is being offered by 84 faculty members present at the institution.
