      Passed 10+2 from a recognised institution in science stream subjects.

      B.Com

      Passed 10+2 from a recognised institution in commerce stream subjects.

      M.A.

      Passed a Degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics with a minimum of 45% of the total mark.

      M.Sc

      Passed Degrees in Polymer Chemistry and General Chemistry.

      M.Com

      Passed a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with a minimum of 45% of the total mark.

      Ph.D.

      Candidates with an M.Phil. who have completed coursework with at least 55% marks are eligible to proceed with research work leading to a Ph.D. Degree in the same institution. A 5% relaxation in marks or grade is available for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled candidates. 

      Those with an M.Phil. dissertation evaluated but awaiting viva voce may also be admitted. 

      Candidates with a degree equivalent to an M.Phil. from a foreign accredited institution are eligible.
