24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Punjabi University, Patiala.
Eligibility Criteria
The Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification, equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
Admission Details
Admission is done through a combined entrance test conducted by the State University (Punjab University, Chandigarh/Punjabi University, Patiala/Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar) rotation wise during the month of July/August every year.
The score obtained in the Entrance test is the criterion of merit.
15 percent of the seats are filled on All India basis and the 85 percent seats are filled from the Punjab State pool.
