- Library
The Library of Government College of Engineering and Technology, Safapora (GCET Library) was established in the year 2018 with the establishment of the College. The Library is in its infancy stage and is presently situated in the temporary campus at Government Degree College Sumbal. The Library has a collection of 4367 books and is continuously increasing. The books are related to different branches of engineering like civil, mechanical, biomedical, electrical, electronics and computer science. The library offers book services to its users which include students, faculty members, and other staff members of the college. Duration and number of books that users can avail on loan vary amongst different type of users.
- Sports
The college has sports facilities for all students.
- I.T Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
- Medical/Hospital
The college has a Well-equipped dispensary for the disposal of students.
- Cafeteria
Inside our sprawling campus, we have a cafeteria/Canteen is housed in the library cum canteen block near the administrative block of the campus. The canteen is centrally located for the convenience of the students and staff. The administration of this cafeteria is given to experienced, proficient and committed contractors. All these cafeterias are open on all working days. Besides, they provide food at a very nominal price.
- Laboratories
The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.

College Infrastructure
Really good infrastructure but still a scope to improve. WiFi facilities are not available for the students. Also, there aren't any laboratories in the college though a lot of equipments are already purchased but not put to work.

See admission to government college of engineering, afapora is based on jkcet score which conducts by J & K board of professional entrance examinations. However the eligibility to appear in jkcet is candidate must be a permanent resident of union territory of j & k and ladakh.
