The Government College of Nursing, Udaipur, the institution was started in the year 2010, is one of the leading institute with focused on nursing education in Rajasthan state of India. Situated at Hospital Road, Udaipur, this institution is a co-educational college recognised by the MHRD as an INC-affiliated college. The college provides different nursing courses: undergraduate and postgraduate, in total there are 4 courses. Currently the college has 208 students and has a faculty of 19 teachers which keep students teacher ratio favourable that makes the college assures its students for their personal attention and quality education.

In terms of courses, the college provides close to all categories of nursing so as to satisfying the various customers in the health sector. The courses currently offered in the College include the 4 years B.Sc Nursing course, which has the capacity to admit 50 students each year. For the postgraduate studies the college offers specialised Masters of Science in nursing programmes with duration of two years and only five students are offered per programme in each specialisation. These are M.Sc in Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing etc.. All courses are on or are designed to be on full time basis, while offering both theoretical concepts and practical sessions. The current overall student enrolment and intake for all the programmes is seventy, This shows the institutes concern in keeping standard education by limiting the number of students in each class.
