Government Degree College, Amadalavalasa, was inaugurated in 1984. It is an affiliated college in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. The college is located adjacent to the MRO Office on Pathinivari Street and has been serving the cause of education in the region for almost four decades. Though of small structure, the current student strength is 58 and the faculty strength 3, but has the unique distinction of being NAAC-accredited, which itself speak volumes about its sincerity in imparting quality education.

It boasts of providing a great deal of facilities to enhance the learning environment. The library is the knowledge centre, offering students all sorts of academic resources and literature.
