Government Dental College and Hospital, Medical College Campus, Aurangabad, was established in 1982 and is the foremost institution offering dental education not only in Maharashtra but in India as a whole. This affiliated college is approved by the DCI and offers various dental programmes from its 2-acre campus. The total enrolment of students is 248, with faculty strength of 73, aiming to provide quality education in different dental specialisations.

It has full infrastructure support for academics and extracurricular activities for students during the course of their studies. The college has separate boys' and girls' hostels on campus to help make the process of comfortable accommodation for students who come from out of town. Selection for BDS course is based on National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, popularly known as NEET-UG. For the various MDS programmes, a student has to clear the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS, popularly known as NEET-MDS. Such standardised tests have a merit-based admission process, making them very fair and competitive.
