Government Girls Polytechnic Moradabad was started in the year 2010; it is an affiliated college located in Uttar Pradesh, India. This institution chartered by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is committed to technical education for women. Located in a 5-acre compound, the polytechnic has three diploma courses in the engineering discipline. The institute offers a student intake capacity of 429 and is staffed with 18 faculties to help the institute manage its student-faculty ratio, which is always of paramount importance to provide focused and quality education. 

Government Girls Polytechnic has a number of facilities for the students that aim to improve the learning environment for the learners. Every campus has a central library, which is fully equipped with books, reference documents, etc., which are essential for academic activities. To cater to our student’s balanced education, the institute provides every classroom with sports facilities in order for the students to develop their physical fitness, discipline, and team spirit. Every department is provided with fully equipped modern laboratories to enable the students practical sessions, which are crucial once they join the industry. The polytechnic has made it a policy to provide accommodation for students who need it; the polytechnic has a girls’ hostel where students can comfortably live. There is also a cafeteria for providing foods for both staff and students, and a guest room/waiting room for the visiting faculty members and students' families. 

Fulltime diploma courses are offered mostly by the Government Girls Polytechnic, Moradabad, and the duration of all programmes is three years. The institute currently provides three courses: Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and Diploma in Electronics Engineering for the institute. These programmes are intended to prepare students with the theoretical knowledge and real-world competencies that are conducive to the modern world market. For these courses, the total approved enrolment is 185; 60 for Computer Science and Engineering; 60 for Electrical Engineering; and slightly higher; 65 for Electronics Engineering. In order to achieve this, the parcelling out of seats is done in such a manner that would guarantee that each student gets the necessary support he or she needs in his or her speciality areas.
