It is Government Jatashankar Trivedi College Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh which was established in 1958 has been established as an icon for higher education. Located in Balaghat, this affiliated college has been built from the ground up for over 63 years. Located in a 3.85 acre compound, the institution teaches 26 courses in seven programmes of study. The college has a faculty of 42 committed teachers and that too for its large student population. Recognised under National Assessment and Accreditation Council(NAAC), the college need not resort to the claims about the promise of imparting quality education and all round development.

The institution offers twenty six courses in different fields; arts, commerce, science and law.
