Government Polytechnic College, Perundurai (GPC Perundurai) is a pioneering technical college which started its journey in the academic year 2013-14 located in Tamil Nadu, South India. Established and recognised by Kongunadu College of Education, this affiliated college is situated at Karumandichellipalayam, Sanitorium PO, Erode, and situated on8.23 acres of land. Recognised by the All India Council for technical Education AICTE new delhi, the college provides various Level diploma programmes in engineering fields. With a student capacity of 578 the college has the strength of having a faculty team of 11 members. The institute currently has five full-time diploma courses, each of three years duration, to meet the engineering requirements.

Government Polytechnic College, Perundurai offers a variety of facility structures for the improvement of students educational process in GPC Perundurai. To support the academic programmes, the college encompasses labs that will resolve the practical preparation requirements of the various departments. There is a gym interest for those with physical exercising and bodybuilding minutes on campus. The ER has a good IT system in place; GPC Perundurai also boasts of having a strong IT facility, in lieu of the present age. Finally, the college does organise an alumni association whereby it caters to the needs of its students after they have joined the market.

All diploma courses that are provided in the institute are full-time programmes of study, and the institute provides five diploma courses. The courses are Diploma in Civil Engineering (60 seats), Diploma in Computer Engineering (60 seats), Diploma in Electrical Engineering (60 seats), Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering (60 seats), and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (60 seats). These courses come under the field of engineering and offer a large number of course combinations for a student to select from. This helps in achieving a good student-faculty ratio, which is key to achieving quality delivery of knowledge. All the offered classes are traditional college, campus-based classes, aimed at developing a profound theoretical and practical cognition of the respective fields.
