Hyderabad Presidency Degree College and PG Centre was established in 1989 as an affiliated college in Hyderabad, Telangana. Headquartered in 1 acre plot this institution being small has managed to find a niche for it in management education. The college at present has 467 student strength and 31 faculties are employed in the college. It has three management study courses, MBA, MBA Integrated and MAM or Master of Applied Management for those who want to become business managers and entrepreneurs.

The college provides modern facilities which developed to aid the learning process within the college. The library has an immensely rich collection of national and international journals taking interest in areas of Business Management and Computer Sciences which helps the students to have access to the latest happening in the respective fields. Altogether the IT infrastructure is very strong, boasting a humongous 2000 sq. ft., fully air-conditioned computer lab that is fitted with more than 210 latest Pentium-IV and Core 2 Duo computers. UPS backup systems and voltage stabilizers maintain the continuative facility to enter into the necessary software and other resources in this lab. To the sporty persons the college provides numerous activities as for the indoor and outdoor sports amenities. Students can play different games like table tennis, carom, chess, volleyball, shuttle badminton and basketball. To enhance the spirit of work and healthy rivalry the college even has its own cricket team.

Hyderabad Presidency Degree College and PG Centre provides only three Master’s level regular management programmes. The traditional MBA programme has a strong intake capacity of 240 students and the latest concept of MBA Integrated has a capacity of 60 students. These programmes are offered with the objective of offering the students a competently taught understanding of business activities as they prepare towards occupying leadership responsibilities in organisations.

Hyderabad Presidency Degree College and PG Centre follows a selection criteria concentrated on the TSICET or the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test.
