Facilities like air-conditioned classrooms, computer lab, separate kitchens and bakeries for all years, separate restaurants, lawn, basketball court, girs and boys hostels, separate common rooms, conference room. etc, are available. The hostels are not so lavish. They are clean. There are double and triple-accupancy rooms. Common washrooms. TV. iron, and geyser are available. the food served in the mess is good.

Teachers here are helpful. The leaching quality is good. Some teachers are very helpful in all aspects. The course cumeutum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready beeause of the internships provided to the students. There are midterm and semester exams held every year. The difficulty level of the exam ranges from easy to moderate

Approximately 60% of the students get placed. Top recruiting companies are Hyatt, Accor, Oberoi, Reliance, McDonald's, etc. Top roles offered are OCLD. OCER, management trainee program, and operational trainee program. All the students have to undergo a 4 months internship in the second year.

Yes value for money

Campus life IHM Ahmedabad is also famous for its wide variety of Societies. You have serious market related societies like Finance and Investment Cell, D-Street, Economics Society and you also get fun and I m enjoying IHM campus life

Good

The college has a decent infrastructure. There's a library, a computer lab, a number of classrooms, different kinds of kitchens with decently maintained equipments. Hostel is miles away from the college, using metro as our commute. Near to 0 extra curricular activities conducted. If they were, they were all intra college with 0 impact on polishing individual skills.

The overall teaching quality is just average. There are professors who are very genuine with their work but most are just sub-par. Half the time, the students were asked to make presentations and explain the topic where as the professor just sat down doing nothing but grading. I remember syllabus not being completed and portions being skipped many times. The curriculum is just average. No rocket science and nothing you can not learn from YouTube.

Placements were the only thing that ranked IHM Bangalore amongst the top 5 Hotel Management institutes. Not sure about the placement data like highest, median or average salary. But the placements were good before COVID hit.

Course on an average excluding hostel costed somewhere about 3-4L for 3 years. The hostel fees per year should be near 80k. Compared to other industries and colleges with the same amount of hype that IHM B has, not that much worth of money we spent.

Zero campus life. Hostel is miles away from the college. We had to use Metro for travel. Below average mess food was provided. Old broken sporting equipments kept in the hostel. The only thing good was the location of the hostel since it had groceries and other stores like stationery etc near it.

Do not join this college. Do not even opt for Hotel Management as a career unless you are really interested in the course or dream to have 0 work-life balance and get highly underpaid for your work. The work culture in the industry right now is in shambles and you get to know the harsh reality during your training but by then it is too late (:

As my college bis runned by government I have all the security and facilities in institute ,also we have food, hostel facility their the infrastructure is well maintained and the weather of banglore makes the beauty of college more better

I am studying B.SC here we have different opportunities by visiting different 5 star hotels in Banglore by giving traning they help us in giving exposure also we got internship in different hotels in his really helped us

The placements are good at my institute as different opportunities come for placement ,the package offered by hotels are pretty well between 8-10 lpa ,so for starting career is good also the big frims and hotels provide good package

Institute of Hotel Management Bangalore is one of the leading hospitality institutes of the country. It is located in the prime location of Bangalore near MS Building Vidhan Soudha which enjoys the close proximity of Cubbon Park, MG Road, Majestic. The nearest metro station is Vidhan Soudha metro station. The college has well equipped labs and kitchens for students to have their hands on practicals. The only institute which enjoys the facility of fully fletched operational hotel EDC.

IHM Bangalore is blessed with the top faculty in all core departments. The industry experience and academic excellence they do bring in classes enlightens the students to the max. The practicals do happen everyday which gives students a realtime experience of the theory they do learn. The curriculum includes 4 months of Industry Exposure Training in 2nd year wherein students are hired as interns in some of the top 5 star hotels of the country.

The placement drive begins in 3rd year in the month of september. The institute enjoys the geographic location as being in a metro city some of the top hotel chains and retail companies do visit the campus for management training

The course costs 58-60k per semester. In second year the fee is less as an entire semester goes in Industry Exposure Training. The hostel costs 72k-85k as of 2020. This may have been changed. The hostel is in Chandralayout which is 10 km away however, enjoys the facility of metro. Its totally worth.

In two words absolutely perfect.

As an alumni I am proud of my college. The transformation I have undergone in those 3 years is beyond words. Grooming, soft skills along with technical knowledge is offered at IHM Bangalore. The college believes in making a complete person who are able to fit in versatile roles post graduation.

Since it's a government college but Yes my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments in campus. the facilities we have in our classrooms, libraries, sports centres and hostels are wifi 24×7 , good food and best hostels and smart boards in every classrooms. Yes are they all used and well-maintained. As chefs corporate very well with students. Yes their is living spaces clean and the food hygienic.

Someone from my family suggested me this college that's why I choose this government college for hotel management.. Here we quality of teaching with our faculties. Yes I think your curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.

Recently I got internship into THE TAJ Banglore the quality of placements at your college is very good, they invite different companies for different background students. 50-60% percentage of students were placed last year. The heightest package was 20 L and avg is 12 L. Yes the placement process easy and pleasant for everyone
