Jai Shri Dayal Teacher’s Training College, Sikar was established in 2008 and serves as a leading institution for preparing instructors of tomorrow. Affiliated with the Pt.Ravishankar Shukla University, Amarkantak and recognised by The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), This college is present in Kairwali, Puranabas, Telsil, Neem Ka Thana, Sikar district of Rajasthan. It occupies a small area of 0.61776 ac of land, however, effectively covers the ground for a focused teacher education institution. At present, the institute is registering a total of 199 students while employing 16 personnel in the faculty which allow the institute to provide enhanced individual attention to the students. The college at the moment offers three courses.

Jai Shri Dayal Teacher’s Training College has a number of physical facilities and resources that are up-to –date facilities that can support learning. The centre of these facilities is a rich library containing more than three thousand books on the preparation of teachers, including 200 reference, as well as subscriptions to 60 educational journals and periodicals. The library provides 40 students with a spacious reading area. The institute boasts laboratories, a Science lab complete with numerous sets of apparatus and chemicals, a Psychology lab done for the educational psychology practicals, an Educational Technology and Media lab containing computers connected to the internet, multimedia equipment and various aids of audio-visual aids.

Out of the three courses offered in Jai Shri Dayal Teacher’s Training College, all three are full time courses and are meant to make sure that successful careers in education. Institute’s leading programme is the two-year duration B.Ed (Bachelor of education) which is permitted for intake of 100 students. In addition, the college offers two integrated four-year programmes, two combined programmes here at BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed which comprises the facility to complete two courses at once.

The admissions for the B.Ed programme are kindly done according to the score achieved in Pre Teacher Education Test (PTET), coordinated by J.N.V., University, Jodhpur as per Govt. of Rajasthan norms.
