Jai Shriram Engineering College (JSREC), started in the year 2008, is an affiliated college situated at Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. Situated on 11.14 acres of land, JSREC has been NAAC certified and AICTE recognised. At present, the institute has 12 courses in three different degrees and a total of 907 enroled students. The college has a staff strength of 121 and by having such a number, it can easily provide a student/teacher ratio that is ideal.

The college has many amenities to improve the college experience for students as a whole. The library has a spread over 403.72 sq mtrs and contains more than 24024 volumes of books in disciplines of Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Management studies. They include access to e-journals and other digitised databases. For the sports enthusiasts, JSREC has provided with court accommodation for indoor games like basketball, volleyball and badminton, outdoor accommodation for cricket and football grounds. The college caters to student health with a first-aid and fully equipped gym facility. To meet the vital needs of its students, JSREC offers a separate hostel facility for boys and girls with all the necessary and comfortable facilities.

It is a multi disciplinary college that specialises in offering undergraduate programme and some other courses. 12 full-time courses are offered in the institute, of which 9 are the undergraduate course and 2 are postgraduate courses. The total approved intake for all the courses are 594. In the latest the academic year there were total of 861 graduating students proving that the institute always aimed at cranking out qualified professionals. The courses offered include BE in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, ME Applied Electronucs, B.Tech in Fashion Technology and so on.

For the entry into the undergraduate engineering programmes the college admits students following TNEA counseling and rank. To get admission in MBA, TANCET entrance test is available for the aspiring candidates in Tamil Nadu. It also provides scholarships for the deserving students.
