Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College is a part of Datta Megha Institute of Medical Sciences (DMIMS) a, deemed-to-be university. Academic buildings are well- maintained with spacious lecture halls, seminar rooms and demonstration halls. Labs are well equipped for pre- clinic, para- clinic and clinical subjects.

The infrastructure is good. Classrooms have AC, library is very well maintained with a lots of editions of books and journals, laboratories are well equipped, sports and extra curricular facilities are there and have a peaceful ambience in general.
