One of the oldest and most prestigious institutions since 1916, JB Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata, is an affiliated college located at the heart of Kolkata and has been a beacon of Ayurvedic education for over a century. The institution is CCIM approved and the course undertaken is the full course in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. The institute presently has a strength of 269 students and is supported by 32 dedicated professionals on a 4-acre campus. This is a co-educational institution admitting students from all walks of life in order to have diversity and therefore a healthy environment for learning.

The college has many facilities that help in enriching the academic pursuits of the students. At the hub of these amenities is a well-equipped health center that provides first aid and primary medical assistance to the college fraternity.
