The College also has a Health Care Centre on the College campus which provides necessary first aid treatment to the students during College hours.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The College has become a platform for Academic as well as Literary Excellence for both students and teachers. The College has a Research Journal entitled 'Candescent' which intends to address both applied and theoretical issues. The scope of the journal encompasses research articles, original research reports, reviews, short communications, and scientific commentaries in the field of social sciences. An interdisciplinary research journal on women cells named 'Janani' has been published regularly. This research journal addresses different empirical research articles on women and allied subjects. It is an important platform to discuss the plight of gender in Indian society with special reference to Assam and North East India.

The College has both indoor and outdoor activities for the benefit of the students. Mr. Joyonta Tamuli has been appointed as a Physical Instructor to look after both indoor and outdoor games and sports. Besides faculty members are also appointed by the authority as the Adviser of indoor and outdoor games and sports for the benefit of the students. Last year, a well-equipped gymnasium with respective aids has been provided by the College for the use and practice of the gym.

The College has a well-maintained canteen, which is kept open to serve the students.  

The College has a well-furnished digital conference hall with a sitting capacity of 150 people. Important Meetings and sessions of Seminars have been conducted in the hall from time to time.

The Alumni Association of Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya is a forum for its ex-students. It was formed in 2003. Henceforth, this association has provided an excellent liaison between the College and its former students and contributes actively to the development of the College.
