Jubilee Mission College of Nursing, Thrissur was started in the year 2003 and is one of the pioneer college providing nursing education in Kerala, India. Syeira is an affiliated college established in Madona Nagar, Kachery and it runs under Indian Nursing Council (INC) and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college is located at four acre campus and provides nine nursing courses spread over four degree levels with total incoming student strength of 208. The institute has a faculty of 21 members to maintain a healthy student teacher ratio for the students aspiring to built career in health care field.

The college boasts the fact that it provides almost all of the important amenities that would facilitate the living and learning environment of the students. A well stocked up library with relevant and updated information in the discipline of nursing is important to create a resource centre for students. The site provides advanced laboratories that replicate real life health facilities to provide practical exposure to student. To female students, college offers a place to stay in a cheap hostel whereby the female students’ welfare is well taken care of. Current facilities include a health centre for the college with first aid facilities available for the community. For the purpose of development in multi dimensions, the institute incorporates sports facility and gym area for students to have their workout sessions along with the classes.

Currently, Jubilee Mission College of Nursing is committed to providing different options in nursing in order to meet different social market prospects in the health sector. It offers nine full-time programmes. undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. At the undergraduate level the college provides a four year baccalaureate of science in Nursing [B.Sc (Nursing)] and a General Nursing and Midwifery [GNM] with an admission capacity of 50 each. Apart from these programs, those who want to further specialise their college offers the following M.Sc programmes, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, and Psychiatric Nursing.
