Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya came into existence in 1965 and is an affiliated with the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Spread over an area of 8.67 acres, this affiliated college stands accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The institute now has a total of 6760 students and we have a faculty strength of 88 employees; the institute offers 27 courses under nine degree programmes. At present, the college has student enrolment that is 89% undergraduate and 11% postgraduate, 95% of the students are from the state and 5% are from other parts of India.

Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya offers numerous amenities that can improve the learning process of every learner enroled in it. The campus has well-equipped library which has collection of books, journals, and magazines is nearly thousand and sixty thousand, in addition to Internet facility for online resources. Modern laboratories are available to subjects, for instance, Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Psychology, among others. The college hosts a girls’ hostel for those students that attend college from towns in order to improve their security. Other facilities are an air conditioned auditorium, a cafeteria, internet connection, a swimming pool and a standard gymnasium. These are sports facilities, clubs and organisations and other co-curricular activities like NSS and NCC etc., are encouraged in the college.

The college provides a broad range of programmes through a wide mix of faculties and departments. The institute offers 27 courses in total, these include the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. At the undergraduate level, one can do BA, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc in various specialisations and BCA. Postgraduate courses are Master of Commerce with specialisations in Accountancy and Business Statistics, Business Administration, Economic Administration and Financial Management, Master of Arts courses in English, History, Political Science, Geography, Master of Science in Botany, Chemistry and many others. This institution has an estimate student intake of 6,760, which proves for colleges’ large capacity to educate students.
