Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course is the duration of 5.5 years, which include 4.5 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship. Offered by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and approved by National Medical Commission (NMC).
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are as prescribed by the competent authority. Students should refer to the information brochure published by the competent authority for detailed eligibility criteria for the current academic year.
The broad eligibility criteria for admission are as follows:
For State quota seats
The candidate must be an Indian National.
The Age of the candidate must be as prescribed by the competent Authority
The Candidate must be Domicile of Maharashtra (with some exceptions as mentioned in the information brochure).
The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness at the time of Document Verification as per proforma.
The candidate must have passed the SSC or equivalent examination from an Institution situated in the state of Maharashtra (with some exceptions as mentioned in the information brochure)
The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/12th Standard) or equivalent examination, from an Institution situated in the State of Maharashtra (with some exceptions) with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) at the time of document verification with minimum marks as prescribed by the competent authority
The candidate must have obtained minimum marks as prescribed by the competent authority at the NEET-UG
The candidate must be registered with State CET cell, Mumbai through online application on website of State CET Cell.
For Institutional quota seats
The candidate must be an Indian National or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
The Age of the candidate must be as prescribed by the competent Authority
The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness at the time of Document Verification as per proforma.

Admission Details
Admissions to the MBBS Program are conducted by the competent authority viz. State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State, Government of Maharashtra. No admissions are done at college level.
