Ludhiana Polytechnic College was set up in 2010, at Katani Kalan, Ludhiana, Punjab and it is an affiliated college. The institute approved by AICTE offers diplomas in several branches of engineering like Mechanical, Civil, Automobile, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, and many more. This college occupies a 7 acre area and has a total intake capacity of students 444 and total faculty members 45. Ludhiana Polytechnic College offers six diploma programmes which is full time programmes and trains students in several engineering disciplines. The institute has focused on technical education to offer a more contemporary infrastructure and more relevant course.

Ludhiana Polytechnic College proudly possesses valuable resources to contribute to the learning process of its learners. These facilities include the new Central Library with 1400 titles, 7400 volumes, seating 150 users and our modern IT Center. Academic Library For Reference And Information Searching The Mnir Library is a modern and large academic library. Sports facilities the college provides for physical development include volleyball and badminton playing fields. For each of the departments, there exist well-equipped laboratory facilities to afford concrete practical experiences for the students. Sport, games, cultural and other activities, events require accommodation, which is provided by an auditorium on the campus. 

There are completely six diploma courses in Ludhiana Polytechnic College who is offered full time education only. They include; Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering and Information Technology.
