Madhav Vidhi Mahavidhyalaya, as one of the premier legal edification centre, was set up in the year of 2004 and situated in Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh). This affiliated college covering a compact campus of 9 acres aims to produce the following generation legal expert. Affiliated to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC and recognised by Bar Council of India, BCI the institute has a strong legal foundation. The school currently has a student population of 942 and faculty of 11 Madhav Vidhi Mahavidhyalaya offers three programmes in law for legal professionals at different levels of learning.

Madhav Vidhi Mahavidhyalaya has a number of facilities that are meant to aid the learning process and in general development of the students. A library as a centre of information contains all the necessary and sufficient tools for legal research and study. One such schemes can be seen in the various sports facilities as well as the gymnasium, meant for the physical as well as all round development of the students. In academics, an auditorium is present in that it supports the student life in that it organises academic seminars and meetings. The college also has an important area of health for students with a medical unit that provides first aid services. For instance, the institute has a well-equipped Moot Court wherein the students get an actual experience of the courtroom and shape their advocacy skills. 

Madhav Vidhi Mahavidhyalaya is a single teacher education institution that provides a detailed course structure with three full time law programmes. These are the five-year combined BA LLB programme, the three-year LLB programme for candidates with other undergraduate degrees and two-year masters of law programme. The BA LLB and LLB programmes offer a total intake capacity of up to 120 students, which is evident that the institute is trying to offer quality education in addition to offering large number of opportunities to those students who wish to become lawyers.
