The Maharshi Dayanand Law College, Jaipur, was established in the year 2003, situated in the pink city of Rajasthan and situated in the central part of capital city of Jaipur. This affiliated college, approved by the Bar Council of India, has been building up legal professionals for almost two decades. Having a limited plot area of only 3 acres located in Raja Park, the college provides a concentrated educational experience for the 560 students admitted in the college. At present, the institute has a team of eleven dedicated faculty members, which also allows the institute to uphold the ideal student-teacher ratio of 17:1 in order to provide high-quality legal education.
The college has a number of facilities that help bring the quality of the learning process to a higher level for students. Providing the very core of these amenities is a separate library with the fiction of legal books, LAW Journals & periodicals, including AIR Manuals, Rajasthan Law Weekly, Indian Bar Review, etc. The library is a source of instructional resources which students are able to access both instructional and reference materials by reputable authors. Since the college is committed to ensuring that students get practical training in law, the college has a Moot Court. Setting up this simulated courtroom environment enables the students to practice the art of advocacy and PCR work, develop self-confidence in matters of public speaking, and gain practical knowledge on courtroom processes.
The Maharshi Dayanand Law College lays down a special emphasis on a selective portfolio of legal education. The institute provides three full-time courses: For undergraduates, it offers a 3-year LLB programme, a five-year integrated BA LLB programme, and a postgraduate 2-year LLM programme. These courses were developed to offer theoretical and professional knowledge to be a practicing lawyer.
