Majha College of Pharmacy, Gurdaspur, came into existence in 2001 as an affiliated college situated in Punjab. This institution is located in Village Gillanwali and is only 3km away from the Sugarmill in Batala and have been in the business of shaping young talent for drug companies for over two decades. The college is recognised from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), to maintain quality standard in pharmacy education in India. At present, the faculty members of this college are 3 hardworking and dedicated experts in the field of pharmacy and committing to improve the quality of education in the College.

Majha College of Pharmacy has a variety of amenities intended to improve the learning environment of students in the college. Facilities that are mostly central to these include a large library that is well stocked with up to date reading, research and reference materials both in print and electronic, and audiovisual forms. This resource centre is an important information resource for students and it helps them in their studies and in conducting research. It also has a up to date computerised laboratory for students use in project assignments, power point presentations and browsing relevant information in this ever advancing course. As for the practical use for effective learning, the college has been provided with seminar hall that is used for guest lectures and conferences occasionally and workshops as well. In addition, the college also hosts departmental laboratories where students can get practical exposure, in relation to pharmacy, in order to apply the theoretical knowledge they learned in class.

At present, Majha College of Pharmacy has D.Pharma course having a total of 60 seats of admission. This is a two-year diploma course that is meant to equip students with all the needed pharmaceutical knowledge to allow him/her fit in any area within the pharmacy industry.
