Malla Reddy College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2004 and is one of the famed pharmacy colleges in Secunderabad, Telangana. PCI approved affiliated college offers complete range of pharmaceutical programmes at UG & PG levels. Established on a relatively small 3-acre area, MRCP is now being attended by 631 students and employing a faculty of 43. There are six courses taught in the college that can be found in three degree programmes, all relating to aspects of pharmacy. Ar present, there are 69% undergraduate students and 31% postgraduate students in MRCP that focuses on pharmaceutical sciences and research.

Malla Reddy College of Pharmacy for the purpose of fostering education provision possess a variety of facilities that complement the learning needs of students. There are one thousand and thirty-five titles, six thousand and four hundred and two volumes, and twenty-one national and sixteen international journals subscribed. For practical training, MRCP brings together 22 modern departmental laboratories. There are two hostels for girls and boys students respectively to provide accommodation for students from other stations. The facilities available here include badminton, table tennis, chess, cricket and volley ball courts both indoor and outdoor respectively.  The college also has a facility for games like basketball, volleyball and tennis, in addition to having a store where snacks and other lunch are sold at the college, and also has an auditorium for musical shows and seminars. In view of the students’ health, there is a health centre with first aid services. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, enabling students make use of internet resources at any given one point in time. Besides, MRCP also supplies transport facilities, a grocery store for other needs, and a spacious parking for students and employees.

Malla Reddy College of Pharmacy offers a complete basket of pharmaceutical education. The college offers 6 courses, these courses include full-time undergraduate and masters’ level programmes. The undergraduate programme offered by MRCP is B.Pharma with a total number of 100 intake capacity. The postgraduate programmes offer M.Pharma with Pharmacy Analysis, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology as the areas of specialisation. Also, the college provides the Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy) and Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate academic programmes. 

Admission process of Malla Reddy College of Pharmacy depends on the programme that the student is intending to take TS EAMCET, the entrance exam for the B. Pharma programme for which the following criteria are applicable. The prospective students have to clear this exam for them to be considered for admission. For postgraduate programmes like M.Pharma, the college accepts scores from two exams: the department will conduct some of the entrance tests like the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) and the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT). These entrance exams help in making certain that only appropriate talents and prior knowledge is admitted to the programmes. It also appreciates the issue of financial assistance to the students.
