The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is 5 years, which includes 4 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship. affiliated with Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad, and approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI).

The BDS program is a 4-year course, supplemented by a compulsory year of rotational internship. Our curriculum, approved by the Dental Council of India and the Academic Council of Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad, ensures that students receive a well-rounded education in dental sciences. The program is organized around a credit-based system, emphasizing both formative/internal assessment and summative/university examination to evaluate student performance. 


Eligibility Criteria

A person seeking admission in the BDS program must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-

  • He / She will attain the age of 17 years or more on 30-12. The age shall be determined as per entry in the Matriculation / Higher Secondary or its Equivalent Certificate.
  • Must have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of the Board of School Education Haryana or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together and must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually in qualifying examination.

In the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/ Scheduled tribes/ Other Backward Classes the marks obtained are read as 40% instead of 50%.

Note:

  • The candidate who has passed the qualifying examination from National Open School shall be eligible provided they fulfill the conditions laid down at ii) above.
  • A diploma in Pharmacy and Dresser’s Course is not equivalent to 10+2 for admission to the BDS course.

Admissions by adhering to the directions of the Government of India, and the Dental Council of India based on merit of the NEET.
