Mar Elias College of Affiliate is situated in Kothamangalam which was set up in the year 2006 in Ernakulam of Kerala state. This institutions occupies a vast land of 7.49 acres of land and has advanced to a significant university in the region. The college comprises a total student strength of 867 students, and a faculty of 44 members; 11 courses are offered across 9 different degree programmes. From the foregoing, it can be seen that the college takes quality education as its hallmark it has made available wide and tributary ranges of fields of study including Commerce, Computer Applications, Management, Social Work, and Tourism among others.

Mar Elias College has had an efficient development of the learning facilities needed for grooming of the students. These comforts involve a present day library equipped with the modern technology of circulation of various books, journals and periodicals. The learning institution applies the Koha Open Source Software for the students to access vast information. For any students studying technology, the college provides two computerised laboratories with best software as well as hardware. Football lovers will find it convenient to have a look at the expansive playground that is home to cricket, football and volleyball among other stunts. It also has a modern style, well equipped auditorium with one hundred seating capacity including seminar, conference, workshops etc. This is perhaps one of the most important facilities that must be in any university; There is a cafeteria prepared to provide simple and healthy foods for the students and faculty all through the day. Mar Elias College has provided a complete list of the different undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. They include eleven courses of which five are full courses while the other six are part courses. Among the above are B.Com in Finance and Taxation, B.Com in Computer Applications, BBA, BA English, BSW, BCA, B.Com in Travel and Tourism and B.Sc in computer Science. For the students who pursue their higher education, this college provides its post graduate courses in M.Com in Finance and Taxation, MSW and MTTM (Master of Tourism and Travel Management). These different courses are aimed at covering the most various subjects of the college, as well as different occupational profiles, which proves the well-rounded approach of the college.
