Mar Kuriakose Arts and Science College, being an affiliated college offering different courses to the students, was established in the year 2010 and is situated in Puthuvely, Kottayam, Kerala. It provides all types of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Commerce, Management, and Computer Application streams. It has a total student strength of 309 and has 10  faculty members which afford a faculty base teaching pedagogy. The campus has six courses in four degree programmes such as Computer application, Finance and taxation, Business administration and E-commerce.

Mar Kuriakose Arts and Science College has achieved a great acclaim by hosting several facilities for the students. The library plays a central role in supplying the requirements of students in learning through helping them gain basic knowledge required in their academic courses. Facilities for sports are also well provided with modern amenities a sport Lover can enjoy here by opting for a package of volleyball, badminton, athletics, football, cricket etc., situated in the Department of Physical Education. From the IT prospect, all students have proper exposure aimed at updating them with all the new technology. A cafeteria is also large and comfortable providing the opportunity for both employees and students to have rest and join discussions that take place there as well as have some delicious meals. The college also has an auditorium for events, seminars etc., practical labs and facilities for the accommodation of guest faculty and student’s families.

This colleges of arts and science has a total of six full time courses of which the college offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The undergraduate courses include B.Com Model II Computer Application, B.Com Model II Finance and Taxation, BBA and BCA. On post graduate level the college offers following programmes, M.Com Finance and M.Com E-Commerce. The cumulative approved student intake in all the courses is 360, B.Com Model II Computer Application has been provided 120 seats and B.Com Model II Finance and Taxation has been provided 100 seats respectively.

The intake in the Mar Kuriakose Arts and Science College is eased to welcome all students who wish to join the institution. Theses colleges affiliated with the respective university are to follow the admission process mentioned by the parent university. In most cases, admissions are determined by results in preceding examinations in addition to achievement in other gymnastic activities.
