Mar Thoma College of Special Education is an affiliated college that was established in 2003 in Kasaragod, Kerala and it offers special education. With a campus size of 1 acres, this facility focuses on providing programmes in audiology and speech-language pathology. The college comprises of 10 dedicated faculty, offering three full time postgraduate and undergraduate programmes in special education. It is the policy of Mar Thoma College of Special Education to produce qualified professional in audiology &speech therapy in order to assist both the health and education service delivery.

Mar Thoma College of Special Education has instituted various facilities that are intended to supplement learning for students in the college. Equipped with facilities, the library is stocked with numerous national and international productions, books and journals of the field accompanied by computers with internet connection. Office and technical staff at the Information Centre, assists and compelling students to optimally utilise them. The college also has departmental laboratories where students are taken for practicals. Classes are large and airy and the teachers use modern facilities such as projectors in teaching their students. For female students, the college also provides girl’s hostel with homely food and concern for personal needs during their college life.

Mar Thoma College of Special Education provides only three programmes in the field of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. These include the following programmes: M.Sc. Audiology, MASLP (Master of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology and BASLP (Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology).
