MCM DAV College Kangra came into existence in 1975 is an affiliated college situated in Himachal Pradesh – INDIA. Located on a 2.5 acre land, the institution hascut a niche for it self in offering numerous and quality undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The college has total enrollment of 2615 students and faculty of 18 then offer a positive learning environment. Currently the student population has 1,171 male and 1,665 female students thus they promote gender balance. MCM DAV College conducts 8 degrees and offers 12 courses with specialisations in Arts, Science, Commerce and Computer applications for UG and PG students.

MCM DAV College has invested in several facilities that improved the students’ experience. It is different from course to course in MCM DAV College, Kangra that the admission takes place. Thus, in undergraduate courses such as the BA, B.Sc, B.Com as well as the BCA, merit alone is used for determining admissions. For M.Sc programmes and M.Com admission, the university follows its own entrance test conducted by Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Minimum passing standard in the entrance test is 35 percent, SC/ST candidates also are eligible. It takes students from all over the India but most of the students applying are from this state. MCM DAV College also provides scholarships, 144 undergraduate and 08 postgraduate students availed reimbursements for 2021 academic session.
