It established the Milad E Sherif Memorial College in 1964 in Kayamkulam Alappuzha in Kerala Currently, the college is providing courses in several fields including humanities, sciences and commerce and enrolling hundreds of students. This affiliated college recognized by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) conducts numerous under graduate and post graduate courses. The college is located on a 4.5 acre campus; of total enrollment, 2,848 are students and 88 are faculty members. of which 23 are offered across 6 degree programmes and the institute offers specialisations in arts, science, and commerce disciplines as well. In terms of gender distribution, 31% of students enrolled in both UG (89%) and PG (11%) programmes are male, while 69% of students are female. 

Milad E Sherif Memorial College was established with various facilities in order to improve the learning environment of the students. Library is a strong component in the facility and boasts an IT services such as an Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) for the retrieval of books. The campus comprises of different hostels for the male child and the female child so as to offer the students quality accommodation. In academies the college provides sufficient laboratories for all the departments concerned with this activity. A computer lab is also available for both the students and instructors for whom programming is desired. The college provides several suitable facilities for enthusiasts of sports, as well as a gymnasium. The campus also includes an auditorium for events/seminars a canteen for food and drinks and has Wi-Fi installed around the campus.

As of now Milad E Sherif Memorial College has a complete list of 23 courses, from undergraduate to post graduate level. About 23 courses are accredited at the institute which includes 17 full time undergraduate courses and 6 full time postgraduate courses which includes BA programmes, B.Sc programmes, and M.Sc programmes etc. Total student population on all courses is 2848; undergraduate 2331 and post graduate 277 students.
