Nagpur Sharirik Shikshan Mahavidyalaya started in 1971. This co-educational college of physical education and sports sciences offers different courses to turn out future physical education professionals. The campus is spread over a sprawling area of 36 acres and has approval from NCTE. The college works as an affiliated college. Presently, it has an enrolment of 118 with a faculty strength of 7 to ensure a congenial learning environment. With 3 courses across 2 degrees, this institution mainly offers specialised programmes in the field of physical education. 

Nagpur Sharirik Shikshan Mahavidyalaya has a well-stocked library with a large number of textbooks, reference books, and general books for students and faculty members, which is another gem of this knowledge centre. The institution also boasts various state-of-the-art laboratories, including an exercise physiology lab, a sports biomechanical lab, an anatomy physiology and health education lab, a sports psychology lab, and a computer lab, which help students apply theoretical knowledge into practice. The intake capacities are 100 seats each for B.P.Ed. and BPE, and for M.P.Ed., it is 20. In this way, the total student intake comes to 220 for all courses.
